Fun during Go Green classes

The students' task at the last Go Green class was to make a chemical yo-yo. To do this, combine baking soda, oil, and vinegar. The vinegar solution is thicker than oil and will sink when poured into a glass. The acid, on the other hand, reacts with the baking soda to form bubbles of carbon dioxide that rise to the top. The effects of the experiments can be seen in the photos taken during the lessons.
