Today we remember St. Patrick, which we celebrated on March 17. On this occasion, students from grades 1-3 took part in a special challenge, which let them introduce as much green color as possible into their lives. For this purpose, they prepared appropriate costumes and props, and even made an occasional decoration. Everything, of course, in the presence of good humor. See the effects of their celebration!
22nd of April is Earth Day but when should we celebrate it?
Everyday!
We use our planet everyday, not only on the 22nd of April. Our planet is our life. How do you imagine life without Earth? Can you?
It’s impossible!
This is why we should think about our planet everyday in our daily activities.
Look how our students help our planet to survive. They recycle, use reusable bags, energy-saving bulbs, hybrid cars and more! They also prepared a video. Check it out on our Facebook!
How will you celebrate Earth Day?
Akcja Żonkile (Daffodils Campaign), organized by POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews and commemorating the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising, takes place today. Our school also remembers the events of 1943 by taking part in the action.

Our Year 7 students did a fantastic job bringing paintings to life as a part of the All About Photography Visual Arts project. They used their imagination and creativity to recreate works of artists such as Zdzisław Beksiński, Rene Magritte, as well as a beautiful Mughal painting, Portrait of A Princess. The current circumstances did not stop our students from being creative; they took their photographs in their homes and it’s surroundings, using clothing and objects accessible to them. The photographs not only came out visually interesting, but also pay homage to historically renown artworks. A huge Well Done to all!
Leonardo da Vinci, a Renaissance man of many talents, was born on April 15th in 1452. He also is a patron of our school. We remember him primarily as a brilliant painter, but he was also a sculptor, architect, inventor, mathematician, philosopher … the list here is really long.
On the occasion of the anniversary of his birthday falling today, our students have prepared a special board introducing this unique character. You will find on it his most important works and a collection of information from his biography. See for yourself!
Akcja Żonkile, organized by the POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews, will take place next week. Its purpose is to commemorate the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising. This year, our school also joins the event, remembering the past and using educational materials specially prepared for this occasion.
